FIMO : trucs et astuces

Coller des morceaux de FIMO ensembles :

Pour coller des morceaux de FIMO ensembles, il suffit souvent d’appuyer légèrement, et ça colle. Mais ça colle bien, il est quasi impossible de décoller, donc en cas d’erreur, seule solution pour tenter de récupérer le plus possible de pâte de chaque couleur, on coupe, mais il y a un reste (ça permet aussi de tester au passage des mélanges de couleurs).

Pour augmenter l’adhérence, vous pouvez strier avec un cure dents les deux surfaces à coller avant de les presser ensembles.

La FIMO liquide peut servir de colle, tout comme la colle gel UHU qui ne réagit pas avec la FIMO.

Assemblage des personnages :

Pour cela rien de mieux que des petits morceaux de cure-dents en bois :
- à l’aide d’une pince coupante, couper des morceaux de cure dents de 7 mm de long à 1 cm
- toujours à l’aide de la pince coupante, recouper chaque morceau dans le sens de la longueur, de manière à ce qu’il soit moins épais, ce qui le rendra aussi plus facile à insérer
- si les deux parties sont en FIMO soft, insérer le morceau de cure-dents dans la partie la plus volumineuse en premier (par exemple : le corps), en prenant soin qu’il ne ressorte pas trop, puis fixer la seconde partie (le bras ou la jambe ...), et appuyer
- si une partie de l’objet est en FIMO classique, insérer d’abord le cure-dents dans la FIMO classique puis fixer sur la partie en FIMO soft

Recouvrir un objet avec de la FIMO :

Coller de la FIMO sur un support :

Il est possible de coller de la FIMO sur un support avec de la colle :
- la colle UHU gel convient pour un collage sur du zinc brut, un support servietté, du bois ...
- pour coller sur du verre, il est préférable d'utiliser de la super glue (la colle UHU n'adhère pas assez sur le verre).

Enlever des bourres :

Vous avez pris bien soin de modeler un joli petit quelque chose, et catastrophe, vous le laissez échapper et de petites bourres se collent sur votre chef d’oeuvre ... pas de panique, prenez un morceau de scotch et tapotez avec la partie collante sur votre réalisation, les bourres devraient se coller dessus et votre petit quelque chose ressortir tout propre (enfin sauf si les bourres sont prises dans la pâte elle même).

Envie d'écrire sur la FIMO :

Pas de problème, on utilise de l'encre, mais toutes les encres ne réagissent pas de la même manière.

Pour écrire sur la pâte fimo, j'utilise un pinceau hyper fin et de la peinture acrylique , ensuite je vernis et çà ne file pas, c'est même impeccable. http://fimobyic.canalblog.com

je me suis mise à la fimo depuis décembre 06. c'est un vrai bonheur.je l'utilise essentiellement pour faire des bijoux fantaisies et meme des barettes pour les cheveux.un consiel , si vous etes très manuel , essayer la pate fimo et pe etre que vous découvrirez en vous des talents cachés

J'adore faire des personnages ou des animaux en pate fimo mais je voudrais savoir comment faire pour leur donner une position qui tiennent pdt la cuisson au four (par exemple les bras ou les légèrement pliées). Souvent la opsition initialement donnée ne tient pas avec la chaleur du four
